INCREASED CARD SECURITY
New announcements made by Visa card has seen a new level of card security. The long card number & card formation has been adjusted to prevent counterfeiting and remove the need for multiple layers and re-transfers. Traditional embossed Visa cards are still favoured in some countries but may soon be a thing of the past. NBS Technologies strives to keep up with bank card changes that are rolled out across the globe.
CARD DETAIL PRINTING CHANGE
The new Visa quick read card design has seen characters and layout change and favouring thermal or laser printing techniques. The long 16 digit card number has been moved to the top right of the card face along with the expiry date. NBS Technology card printers can still facilitate the new character configuration whether the requirements are thermal printing or laser engraved.
CAN PRINT PORTRAIT OR LANDSCAPE
The new changes to the card configuration has developed some challenges for some card printers. However at NBS Technologies our printers are not phased by this change and have the capability to print both portrait and landscape cards.
Our LC400 Gen II is the perfect solution for laser engraved cards with its ability to print on the front back side of plastic or metal cards.
